Snowfall in Sanandaj, the capital of Iran’s Kordestan Province, has given a beautiful scene to this Kurdish city surrounded by Mount Abidar.
Sanandaj’s geographical location is such that in winter, many parts of it are covered with snow and create a magnificent landscape.
Mount Abidar overlooks Sanandaj with an altitude of about 2,550 meters. Due to its proximity to Sanandaj City, Mount Abidar is one of the main and spectacular promenade of Sanandaj people and tourists, especially in winter.
The precipitation system that entered Kordestan Province on Sunday has covered most of the cities in snow, and its activity will continue until Tuesday.
